The implemented and certified Information Security Management System (ISMS) is a result of a project which was partially funded by the European Operational Programme "Development of the Competitiveness of the Bulgarian Economy 2007-2013". The project started in the beginning of September 2008 and was successfully completed within one year.
The most important goals of MPS ISMS are:
- To ensure the availability, integrity and confidentiality of the information used in the company and thus guarantee the continuity of the company business.
- To reduce the risk of losses caused by incidents related to the information security.
- To ensure compliance with the legal requirements related to the activities of gathering, storing, processing and distributing of information.
- To increase the quality of the company's products and services through more efficient processing of the information.
The achievement of these goals is expected to enhance the reputation of the company and attract more customers which become more and more demanding to the quality and security of their suppliers.

In August 2009 MPS Ltd. was successfully certified for compliance to the requirements of the international standard for information security ISO/IEC 27001:2005. The certification was done by Moody International under the accreditation of the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).
