ITMark Premium
Multiprocessor Systems Ltd (MPS) has obtained the ITMark Premium and CMMI® Maturity Level 2 certifications.
MPS is a Bulgarian IT company that offers its clients a broad range of hardware and software solutions and it is the first company that has received the ITMark Premium certification worldwide. It is also the first company to obtain the CMMI® Maturity Level 2 certification in Bulgaria and in Eastern Europe.
ITMark is a certification, launched worldwide by the ESICenter Alliance, aimed at certifying the quality and maturity of the processes in SMEs that develop and maintain Information Technology (IT) systems. The process areas assessed with ITMark are the business processes (financial, commercial, strategic, etc.), information security management processes and software processes.
ITMark distinguishes three increasing maturity grades -ITMark, ITMark Premium and ITMark Elite- depending on the maturity shown by the SME's processes. The service also defines improvement actions, and seeks to launch a process of continuous improvement in the SME.
MPS achieved ITMark in March 2006 and was assessed and certified in ITMark Premium in November 2006 by ESI and local ESI Center Bulgaria appraisers. In November 2006, MPS was assessed using the SCAMPISM method (Standard CMMI® Appraisal Method for Process Improvement) and awarded Maturity Level 2 according to the reference model CMMISM SE/SW v.1.1, Staged Representation. These certifications are the result of a complete software process improvement programme in collaboration between MPS, ESI Center Bulgaria and ESI with the support of various donor programmes.
