MPS was founded in 1990 by a team of hardware and software developers with long years of common background in:
- Design and manufacturing of high performance array processors
- Application software for processing of geophysical and radar data on high performance multiprocessor systems
History
Today MPS employs 80 of the best Bulgarian computer professionals covering wide range of competences in software and hardware industry.
Over the years, we considered clients’ satisfaction a leading criteria for our development and enjoyed the success of this strategy in the long lasting partnerships with our clients.

2008 - MPS receives the ESI award for software excellence in European category 2006 - CMMI maturity level 2 in November 2006
2006 - IT Mark Premium
2006 - MPS achieved ITMark in March 2006
2006 - MPS won the Gold Award for Supplier of the year of Siemens AG I &A Postal Automation, Konstanz in the category Goods and Services in recognition of an excellent cooperation and extraordinary performance for a fifth year in a row!
March 2006 - Third in a row certification according to ISO 9001:2000 - done by AeroCert, Germany.
2005 - MPS won the Gold Award for Supplier of the year of Siemens AG I &A Postal Automation, Konstanz in the category Goods and Services in recognition of an excellent cooperation and extraordinary performance for a fourth year in a row!
2004 - MPS won the Gold Award for Supplier of the year of Siemens Dematic PA in the category Goods and Services in recognition of an excellent cooperation and extraordinary performance for a third year in a row!
2004 - first Euro certificates for the electronic E-meters received
2003 – MPS won a gold medal on the 59th International Technical Fair in Plovdiv, Bulgaria for the item “small dimension static single phase multitariphe energy meter for measuring the active energy”
2003 – MPS won Gold Award for Supplier of the year of Siemens Dematic PA in the category Goods and Services in recognition of an excellent cooperation and extraordinary performance
2003 - first smart card e-meter designed (advanced payment applications)
2003 - Second in a row certification according to ISO 9001:2000
2003 - first remote reading positioning system designed
2002 – MPS won the Gold Award Supplier of the Yearof Siemens Dematic PA in the category Goods and Services in recognition of an excellent cooperation and extraordinary performance
2002 - first outside e-meter production license sell in Turkey
2001 - full series of single and three phase multifunction E-meters designed
Since 2001 the software team of MPS started implementing local processes based on CMM framework
2000 - first e-meter remote reading E-meter system established in Bulgaria
2000 – MPS won a gold medal on the 56th International Technical Fair in Plovdiv, Bulgaria for the item “Gamma of three phase electronic energy meters”
2000 - ISO 9001 certified since January 2000
1999 - MPS implemented a quality management system based on ISO 9001. In 2001, the software department started applying CMM model as framework for its local processes.
1998 - e-meter manufacturing technology line designed
1997 - first 4 quadrant / 3 phase electronic meter designed (multiprocessor system)
1996 - multiprocessor radar data processing designed
1995 - single board 586 all-in-one computer designed
1994 - First software outsourcing project for Postal Automation( AEG Electrocom GmbH, Germany)
1994 - single board 486 all-in-one computer designed
1992 - single board 386 all-in-one computer designed
1991- single board 286 all-in-one computer designed
1990 - The “Twin towers” system designed (miltiprocessor system housed in a standard vertical PC case and attached trough the high speed memory bus to the usual PC system, housed in other, but with the same shape, vertical PC case - for geophysical and scientific applications)
